November 2019 market statistics for the Ogden Valley, Mountain Green, and the Ogden Bench showed continued strength of the strong real estate market as we move through the Fall season, toward Winter and the Holidays. An epic snow storm at the end of November has all the ski resorts open and experiencing exceptionally good conditions for this early in the season. With the Holiday crowds soon to arrive, and some folks trying to complete transactions during 2019 for tax purposes – December should prove to be an interesting month. Look for my December 2019 Market Update, which will be published in early January 2020, for the actual numbers.
Again, the majority of market statistics for November remained steady, mirroring the strong market for most of 2019, but there was one notable exception. The median sales price of single family homes in the Mountain Green and Ogden Valley areas jumped over $100,000 to $519,000, and $609,000, respectively. The median sales price of condos and town homes in the Ogden Valley rose by a staggering $300,000 to $536,000.
