Two Excellent Fine Dining Options in the Ogden Valley

After years of a conspicuous lack of fine dining options in the Ogden Valley- there are now two exciting opportunities to enjoy a beautiful dinner in environments that range from classy to extraordinary

View from Skylodge, at sunset, just before diners take their seats.

The Skylodge, just off the parking lot at Hidden Lake at Powder Mountain, is the site of Tuesday evening Community Dinners.  The internationally themed cuisine is elegant and delicious, the staff friendly and efficient, and the views of sunsets across the peaks of the Wasatch and the Great Salt Lake, from 9000 ft., are stunning…magnificent…jaw-dropping!  There is room for only forty diners, and the events sell out quickly.  If you pre-purchase your tickets, it’s only $40.00 per person.  There is a cash bar.

Kuna Bistro offers a large, Brazilian-inspired menu, and an impressive wine and beer selection.  Open for only a couple of months, the often packed restaurant is testimony to the quality of the dining experience.

Lisa’s Deal of the Month!

My monthly newsletter includes a “Lisa’s Deal of the Month” – a coupon for a discount at a Ogden Valley business.  The Deal for February is 10% off Next Day Air and 10% off in-stock office supplies at Valley Copy, located 5460 E 2200 N, Eden.  Stop in and see Greg Anderson, the local owner/operator, and claim your discount.  Greg offers a great service to the Valley.

Are you not receiving my newsletter and the coupon?  Would you like to? Please email me at lisa@lisakaram.com, and I’ll add you to the list.  If you live locally and I have your physical address, I’ll also mail you a postcard with a coupon.

Lisa’s Market Update for January 2020

The Ogden Valley was packed with skiers, boarders, families and friends over the holiday season.  Combined with some especially positive media about Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, the Summit Group and their development – the result is a lot of folks interested in property, and those buying in January are paying prices that, in some categories, are setting new records.

The median price per sq. ft. for single family homes sold in the Ogden Valley in January, although there were only three sales, soared to $225.00.  Condos and townhomes in the Valley also increased in price per sq. ft. to $214.00 from $211.00.  Single family home sales in the Mountain Green and Ogden Bench areas also remained strong.

The upward trend in prices and corresponding lack of inventory continues in the local real estate market. Sellers should be encouraged. Stay tuned to see what the beginning of the new decade will bring!
