Snowbasin Resort Announces Davy Ratchford as New General Manager

Snowbasin Resort announced the appointment of Davy Ratchford as its new General Manager, effective May 2018. Ratchford will succeed retiring General Manager, John Loomis.

Ratchford was the Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Alliance at Park City Mountain and was previously the Director of Marketing at Vail Mountain in Colorado and Northstar Resort in California. Throughout his seasoned career, Ratchford has specialized in driving business results, elevating the guest experience, and cultivating community engagement. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Ratchford attended the University of Utah and is an avid skier with a strong passion for the snow sports industry. He resides in the Park City area with his wife and four children.
