Santa Fe Real Estate Statistics in October – Some Prices Way Up, But Others Way Down. Again – No Noticeable Trends
The election is over and half of our Country is devastated, while the other half is elated. Interest rates have just been cut again. What does it all mean for the real estate market? Consensus is – nobody knows!
Looking back at the sales statistics from October, there were some wild jumps in rising prices in a few areas, but even more areas had dramatic price decreases. As examples, 3N in the City limits saw the average sales price go from $903,000 to $1,209,000 and the price per sq. ft. jump to $642.00 from $623.00. Conversely, 25N-NW showed a higher percentage decrease in sales price to $956,000 from $1,417,000 and a huge drop in price per sq. ft. from $510.00 to $304.00.
