August’s Real Estate Statistics Indicate Downward Pressure on Prices, Units Sold
One month does not a trend make, but units sold, selling price and price per sq. ft. decreased in more areas than increased in August.
In the Ogden Valley, single family units sold decreased from 16 in July to 11 in August, while the median sales price dropped to $1,075,000 from $1,613,000 and the price per sq. ft. went down to $304 from $391.
Mountain Green had drops in units sold from 20 to 12, sales price from $882,000 to $745,000 and price per sq. ft. from $264 to $244.
North Ogden did show increases in units sold from 36 to 45 and a decrease in days on the market from 53 to 35.
